VAUEN not only manufactures series of pipes, but also pure "handmades". Under the name "Solitaire", these individual pieces are cut by hand along the grain of the wood of the "briar plateau". The mouthpieces are individually shaped and adapted to the particular head shape. This is how unique pipe artwork is created, and is a reflection of the complete craftsmanship of the pipe maker.
